Overview
What this service does.
When a number needs to be challenged or defended, you need an independent measurement, not an opinion. We review contractor estimates, reconcile budgets against the current set, and price change orders from the drawings, giving you a documented second figure with the quantities behind it.
Who it’s for
- Owners and lenders reviewing contractor pricing
- Contractors defending change orders
- Attorneys and insurers who need documented cost
What’s included
- Independent estimate review
- Change-order pricing and negotiation support
- Budget-to-drawing reconciliation
- Cost-to-complete assessments
- Written findings with quantities attached
What you receive
Everything you need to bid. Nothing you have to redo.
Every estimate ships as the same four-part package, on the first job and the fiftieth.

FAQ
Construction Cost Consulting, answered.
Talk to an estimator
Not a salesperson. Same-day answers on working days.
+1 518 974 7222[email protected]Are you independent of the contractors we review?
Yes. We have no stake in who wins or performs the work, which is what makes the review useful to an owner or lender.
Can you price a change order after the work is done?
Yes, as long as there is a drawing, sketch, photo record or field measurement to work from. We document the basis of every quantity.
Do you provide reports suitable for disputes?
We provide written findings with quantities, sources and assumptions. Expert-witness work is scoped separately.
Can you use our cost book and labor rates?
Yes, and we prefer it. Your historical costs reflect your crews and your suppliers better than any published average. Send the template and we work inside it.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is per project and quoted before any work starts — no retainer, no minimum volume and no subscription.
