Overview

What this service does.

Some contractors already have the cost data and simply need the measuring done. A quantity takeoff gives you exactly that: every length, area, count and volume measured from your sheets in the unit your suppliers sell in, with no dollars attached. The color-coded markup comes back with the quantities, so your team can check any figure against the drawing without redoing the work.

Who it’s for

  • Estimators with their own cost book
  • Subcontractors who price in-house but are short on measuring time
  • Suppliers building material quotes

What’s included

  • Quantities by sheet, area, level or phase
  • Units matched to how the trade buys (LF, SF, CY, EA, TON)
  • Color-coded markup of the full plan set
  • Export to Excel or your takeoff template
  • Revision deltas when addenda are issued

What you receive

Everything you need to bid. Nothing you have to redo.

Every estimate ships as the same four-part package, on the first job and the fiftieth.

Can you format the takeoff to match our estimating software?

Yes. Send us a blank of your template or an export from your software and we will structure the quantities to drop straight in.

How do you handle addenda?

We measure the change against the new issue and give you a delta by line, so you can see what moved instead of re-checking a whole new takeoff.

Is waste included in the quantities?

Quantities are measured net, as drawn. Waste is shown as a separate factor you can adjust, so it never gets double-counted with your own allowances.

Can you use our cost book and labor rates?

Yes, and we prefer it. Your historical costs reflect your crews and your suppliers better than any published average. Send the template and we work inside it.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is per project and quoted before any work starts — no retainer, no minimum volume and no subscription.
