Where bids go wrong

What other siding estimates miss.

  1. Openings deducted or not — small windows are usually not worth deducting once trim is counted.

  2. Trim, corners, starter and J-channel, which carry more labor per foot than the field siding.

  3. Weather barrier, flashing and sealant at every penetration and horizontal joint.

  4. Access: staging and lift time on anything above one storey.

Do you deduct openings?

Yes. Openings are deducted and their trim, flashing and returns are measured separately.

Do you include the weather barrier?

Yes. Weather-resistive barrier, furring and trim are measured alongside the cladding.

Can you use our cost book and labor rates?

Yes, and we prefer it. Your historical costs reflect your crews and your suppliers better than any published average. Send the template and we work inside it.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is per project and quoted before any work starts — no retainer, no minimum volume and no subscription.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. Drawings, specifications and pricing are treated as confidential by default, and we sign your NDA on request before any documents change hands.
