Where bids go wrong
What other waterproofing estimates miss.
- 01
Terminations, transitions and tie-ins, which are where every failure and most of the labor occur.
- 02
Substrate preparation and the moisture condition required before the material can be warranted.
- 03
Protection course and drainage, without which the membrane does not survive backfill.
- 04
Detailing at penetrations, corners and cold joints, counted per condition rather than per area.

FAQ
Waterproofing Estimating, answered.
Talk to an estimator
Not a salesperson. Same-day answers on working days.
+1 518 974 7222[email protected]Do you include below-grade and above-grade waterproofing?
Yes. Below-grade membranes, plaza decks, wet areas and joint sealants are measured as separate systems.
Are protection board and drainage included?
Yes. Protection board, drainage mat and termination details are measured with each system.
Can you use our cost book and labor rates?
Yes, and we prefer it. Your historical costs reflect your crews and your suppliers better than any published average. Send the template and we work inside it.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is per project and quoted before any work starts — no retainer, no minimum volume and no subscription.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Drawings, specifications and pricing are treated as confidential by default, and we sign your NDA on request before any documents change hands.
