Where bids go wrong

What other millwork estimates miss.

  1. Shop drawings, engineering and field measure, which precede fabrication and take real hours.

  2. Substrate, blocking and scribes required to install into an out-of-plumb building.

  3. Grade and finish from the specification — AWI grade changes the price more than the linear footage.

  4. Delivery, protection and site handling for finished casework on an active site.

Do you estimate custom casework?

Yes. Casework is measured by linear foot and by unit, with countertops, panels and hardware broken out.

Is installation priced separately?

Yes. Fabrication and installation are separate lines, since they are often bid by different companies.

Can you use our cost book and labor rates?

Yes, and we prefer it. Your historical costs reflect your crews and your suppliers better than any published average. Send the template and we work inside it.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is per project and quoted before any work starts — no retainer, no minimum volume and no subscription.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. Drawings, specifications and pricing are treated as confidential by default, and we sign your NDA on request before any documents change hands.
