Where bids go wrong

What other drywall estimates miss.

  1. Finish level by room, not one level for the whole job — Level 5 in the lobby costs real money.

  2. Rated assemblies, head-of-wall detail and fire-stopping counted from the UL detail, not the wall type.

  3. Soffits, bulkheads, chases and columns, which take more labor per square foot than flat wall.

  4. Second-side board where the wall type is single-sided at a shaft or a chase.

Sample takeoff

How drywall line items come back.

Every quantity is traceable to the sheet it came from, in the units the trade buys in.

  • Waste and productivity carried as visible lines

Do you measure by partition type?

Yes. Each partition type is measured by length and height, then converted to board, studs, track and finish level.

Are rated assemblies identified?

Yes. Fire-rated and acoustic assemblies are listed separately with their extra layers and sealants.

Can you use our cost book and labor rates?

Yes, and we prefer it. Your historical costs reflect your crews and your suppliers better than any published average. Send the template and we work inside it.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is per project and quoted before any work starts — no retainer, no minimum volume and no subscription.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. Drawings, specifications and pricing are treated as confidential by default, and we sign your NDA on request before any documents change hands.
